She earned her Bachelors Degree in Child Development and Family Relationships at Cornell University, followed by a Masters degree in Health Education from Columbia University. She then went on to earn a second Masters's degree in Psychology from Hofstra University and a doctorate in psychology from the same institution. Susan G. Ellis, PhD, PA, in Largo, FL, also holds a Primary Certificate in Rational Emotive Therapy from the Albert Ellis Institute in New York City. With her extensive education and training, Dr. Ellis has taught college courses in Health Education and has worked as a licensed psychologist in various settings, including schools, mental health clinics, hospitals, and private practice.
